Thanks to everyone who helped make the 23nd Annual Fordsville Days a success! We are already making plans for our 24th year to be held September 18-20 2014. Plans are in the works to add new events, find new vendors and bring in new attractions to make this Fordsville Days a fabulous three day celebration for the community and all who plan to attend. Since 1990 the Fordsville Historical Society & Museum Inc. has played host to one of Ohio Counties largest events. Fordsville Days has grown into more than just a fundraiser for L & N Deport Museum, it has become a community tradition! Featuring carnival rides, beauty pageants, free musical entertainment, craft and vendor booths, car and tractor shows, fantastic food, games and family fun. Fordsville Days serves as a homecoming with the fun of a county fair. Paired with the addition of the Highway 54 yard sale that stretches from Owensboro, KY to Leitchfield, KY Fordsville Days makes the perfect midway stop along the 50-plus miles of sales on Highway 54. All profits go to the Fordsville Historical Society and Museum Inc. which operates the Fordsville Depot Museum located at 32 Ridge Road, Fordsville, KY. Monies raised through booth rentals, food, t-shirt sales and business sponsorships assist the Society with upkeep of the museum and allows for the non-profit to support other events in our community such as the annual Christmas celebration, Summer Saturday Events and many more civic-minded events. If you have any questions concerning attending, participating or becoming a vendor at Fordsville Days please feel free to contact Charlie Mattingly, President of the Fordsville Historical Society 270-929-5792 or check out our FACEBOOK page - see event links below.
